INTERNATIONALIZING PROJECT+ ALENTEJO NAUTICAL STATIONS

The Alentejo Nautical Stations were, until this Sunday, represented at this Danish tourism fair with the aim of promoting the best offer of nautical tourism available in the region in the Scandinavian market.

The presence in Denmark made it possible to show tour operators and the rest of the Scandinavian market the quality of the existing tourist offer at the Alentejo Nautical Stations.

The Danish Travel Show, better known as Ferie for Alle, is the largest tourism fair held in the countries of the Scandinavian peninsula, consisting of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and was chosen by Sines Tecnopolo and ADRAL in partnership with the Regional Tourism Promotion Agency. do Alentejo and Fórum Oceano, as the ideal place to launch the digital catalog of the Nautical Stations of Alentejo, promoting the entities that make up these Nautical Stations in order to enhance the attraction of tourists and the creation of business in this important market.

The network of partners of the five nautical stations integrated in this project for the internationalization of the nautical sector in the Alentejo involves around 165 entities, including tourist entertainment companies and maritime-tourist operators, travel agencies, local accommodation, tourist developments and restaurants.

The presence at the fair in Denmark marked the beginning of the internationalization campaign of the Alentejo Nautical Stations, which also have a route to the United Kingdom and Spain, culminating in the visit of tourist prospectors to the Alentejo, specifically to the Nautical Stations of Avis, Moura, Odemira, Reguengos de Monsaraz and Sines.

This promotion action is carried out within the scope of the project “Internationalize + Nautical Stations of Alentejo” promoted by Sines Tecnopolo and ADRAL, co-financed by the Regional Development Fund of the ALENTEJO 2020 program with the partnership of the Municipalities of Avis, Moura, Odemira, Reguengos de Monsaraz and Sines and support from the Alentejo Regional Tourism Promotion Agency and Ocean Forum.
